Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb steak tips (sirloin or ribeye), cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 10 oz rigatoni pasta
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 3/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tbsp butter (divided)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Season the steak tips generously with Cajun seasoning. In a skillet, heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter over medium-high heat. Sear the steak until browned on all sides (5-7 minutes). Remove from heat.
  2. In a large pot, boil salted water. Add rigatoni and cook until al dente (8-10 minutes). Drain, reserving 1/2 cup pasta water.
  3. In the same skillet, melt remaining butter and sauté minced garlic until fragrant (30 seconds). Stir in heavy cream and let simmer.
  4. Mix in Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth. Season with salt, pepper, and extra Cajun seasoning if desired.
  5. Combine cooked rigatoni with the sauce, adding reserved pasta water as needed for consistency. Gently fold in seared steak tips.
  6. Serve immediately, garnished with additional Parmesan cheese and cracked black pepper.
