A creamy, spicy, and protein-packed buffalo chicken dip made with blended cottage cheese for a lighter twist.

Ingredients

  • 1½ cups shredded cooked chicken
  • 1 cup low-fat cottage cheese
  • ½ cup buffalo hot sauce
  • ¼ cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 tbsp Greek yogurt or milk (optional, for blending)
  • 2 tbsp blue cheese crumbles (optional)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

1. Blend the cottage cheese until smooth using a food processor or blender.

2. In a mixing bowl, combine blended cottage cheese, shredded chicken, buffalo sauce, garlic powder, and cheddar cheese.

3. Mix everything until evenly combined. Add salt and pepper to taste.

4. Pour the dip into a baking dish and sprinkle with blue cheese if using.

5. Bake at 375°F for 15–20 minutes until bubbly and golden.

6. Serve hot with tortilla chips, celery sticks, or pita bread.

Notes

Make ahead by preparing the dip and refrigerating up to 3 days before baking.

To make dairy-free, use a plant-based cottage cheese and cheese substitute.

Leftovers can be used in wraps or scrambled eggs.
