  • 300 g chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs
  • 1 can (400g) crushed tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh basil leaves, for garnish
  • Optional: red pepper flakes for heat

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chicken pieces seasoned with salt and pepper; cook until golden brown (5-7 minutes). Transfer to a plate.
  3. In the same skillet, sauté garlic until fragrant. Add crushed tomatoes and simmer for 5 minutes.
  4. Stir in heavy cream and let simmer for an additional 2-3 minutes until creamy.
  5. Return chicken to the skillet; mix well with sauce.
  6. Toss cooked pasta in the skillet until well coated.
  7. Sprinkle mozzarella over pasta; stir until melted.
