  • 4 cups day-old bread, cubed
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • For Topping: ¼ cup granulated sugar, 1 tsp ground cinnamon, 2 tbsp melted butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a muffin tin.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, heavy cream, sugar, vanilla extract, and cinnamon until combined.
  3. Gently fold in cubed bread and let soak for about 5 minutes.
  4. Evenly distribute the mixture into the muffin cups and press down lightly.
  5. Bake for 25–30 minutes or until golden brown.
  6. Brush with melted butter and sprinkle with the cinnamon-sugar mixture immediately after baking.
  7. Allow to cool slightly before serving warm.
