Hi there! I’m Noura, the heart and soul behind dinnerscoop.com. This buffalo chicken dip with cottage cheese is one of my favorite recipe makeovers. I discovered it during a fridge clean-out, and now it’s my go-to for parties or snack nights. Using blended cottage cheese gives it a lighter feel without losing any creaminess. It’s smooth, spicy, and packed with protein—just how I like it. Whether you’re cooking for guests or just craving comfort food, this dip is always a winner. I hope it brings as much joy to your kitchen as it does to mine.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup low-fat cottage cheese
  • 1/2 cup hot sauce (e.g. Frank’s RedHot)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 cups cooked shredded chicken
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • Salt & pepper to taste

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

2. Blend cottage cheese, hot sauce, and garlic powder until smooth.

3. In a bowl, combine blended mixture with shredded chicken and cheddar.

4. Season with salt and pepper, stir well.

5. Transfer to a baking dish and bake for 20–25 minutes until bubbly.

6. Serve warm with chips, veggies, or pita.

Notes

Blend the cottage cheese well to avoid a curdled texture.

Use drier cooked chicken to prevent watery results.

Top with extra cheddar before baking for a golden finish.
