  • 15 oz tomato sauce
  • 6 oz tomato paste
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Italian seasoning
  • Dried parsley flakes
  • Garlic powder
  • Worcestershire sauce
  • Crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Fresh basil leaves (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, brown the ground beef and chopped onion over medium heat until cooked through. Drain excess grease.
  2. Stir in tomato sauce, tomato paste, Italian seasoning, parsley flakes, garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, and sugar until well combined.
  3. Add water to the skillet; bring to a boil. Reduce heat and let simmer for about 20 minutes.
