  • 1 lb ground turkey (93/7 lean)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 large red onion
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs or almond flour
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh dill
  • 1/2 tbsp dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine ground turkey, minced garlic, grated red onion, egg, breadcrumbs, dill, oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined.
  2. Form the mixture into approximately 14 meatballs.
  3. Heat olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Cook the meatballs for about 7-8 minutes, turning frequently until browned and cooked through (internal temperature of 165°F).
  4. For tzatziki (optional), mix yogurt, grated cucumber, garlic, dill, and lemon juice to taste.
  5. Serve meatballs warm over rice or salad.
