8 oz pasta (penne, rigatoni, or fettuccine)
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
3 cloves garlic, minced
1/3 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
1/2 cup chicken broth
2 tbsp olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
1 tsp Italian seasoning
1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
Fresh basil for garnish
Instructions
Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
In a skillet over medium heat, add olive oil. Season sliced chicken with salt and pepper; sear until golden brown on both sides (about 5-7 minutes). Remove from skillet.
In the same skillet, sauté garlic and sun-dried tomatoes for about 1 minute. Add chicken broth and simmer.
